God is with us at all times. We only need fresh eyes to see and hearts to understand.
There is a small verse in the New Testament that reads, “For they still didn’t understand the significance of the miracle of the loaves. Their hearts were too hard to take it in.” Mark 6:52
Jesus had done an amazing miracle. In collaboration with the faith of a small boy who offered his five loaves and two fish, Jesus had multiplied these small bits into a meal for more than five-thousand people.
The disciples had been hard-put to take care of the crowds. All they could imagine was the lack of funds and the refusal to take any responsibility, to see any possibility, and to dismiss the problem as belonging to the people. Read Mark 6:30-44
And then we read, “Their hearts were too hard to take it in.” vs.52
At Capturing Courage we are endeavouring to deal with our hearts. To come to the Lord. To exchange our sorrows for gladness. To give over bitternesses for gratitude.
There is healing at hand. Wholeness can be actualized. Regeneration and restoration are the Lords. For you and I and the entire world.
May our hearts be able to perceive God among us.
